Beware 2.0 generation…we are coming into a blackout period!! In the ‘Sciences et vie Junior’ magazine’s last edition (n°222), I learnt something scary. 

From now  to 2013, our mobiles, televisions, wifi connexions, and other ways of communication could frequently be out of service because of the sun’s anger. Magnetic solar flares could disorder our terrestrial habits and have crushing effects on our global communication.

We must be prepared to come back to a mediaeval way to communicate. The last thing to do… buy a carrier-pigeon.
