A fortnight ago, I attended the Mobile IT Tour of SFR in Nantes. The aim of the Mobile IT Program, led by SFR Entreprises, is to create links through partnerships between telcos and data processing actors to implement solutions that will answer companies needs in terms of global mobility.
Nantes was one of the 7 stages of the Tour de France des Trophées SFR Data from March 4 to March 25. The 4 candidates in Pays de La Loire Region were Groupe Samsic, Distrihome, Sodicome and GEA Matal SA. All of them work on traceability and use a PDA.
The winner is GEA Matal SA, specialized in industrial refrigeration requirements. It develops traceability of the maintenance on real time in an hostile -cold- environment & informs its customers.
Next step : the final in Paris in June which will award the national winner.
