It’s a long time since I wrote on this blog ! Hey, I was not inactive. In fact, I was writing posts in another blog : the Innovation blog dedicated to Innovation in La Baule.
The Action team is actively involved on the CTS event - the California Tech Showcase, that will be held on 4, 5 and 6 June in La Baule. This business convention will gather 40 innovative IT and cleantech start-ups from the Silicon Valley, 15 from Europe and worldwide leaders.

Après une mission sur le web 2.0 à Berlin et avant de vous raconter Campagnes 2.0 à Bressuire, je me permets de vous inviter au 2è Festival de la Bande Dessinée de Nantesce week-end 8 et 9 décembre.
Quel lien? La Bd est aussi un moyen de communication (moins numérique évidemment), il y a aussi cette idée de réseau social et des relations humaines. -Et aussi, le chiffre 2 puisque ce sera la 2è édition. Et enfin, parce que j’aime aussi la bd et que ce tout jeune festival est promis à un bel avenir dans ce monde du 9è art.
Ce festival accueillera environ 25 auteurs, dont le créateur de l’affiche : Monin ainsi qu’entr’autres : Silvina Pratt (eh oui, la fille de Hugo), Jeronaton, Gess, E. Juszerack, Tanquerelle, etc… ainsi qu’une exposition de planches originales et exposition de timbres.
Bref, si vous voulez en savoir plus sur la bd, rencontrer des auteurs, discuter avec d’autre fans, recevoir un accueil chaleureux et même acheter des albums pour Noël, venez-donc à Nantes le week-end prochain !

During Web 2.0 in Berlin, I met a lot of young connected guys having great ideas that could be inserted very soon in your laptop, PDA, mobile phone, etc…

I had the opportunity to be with Billaut - that’s the way he introduces himself - in Berlin and thanks to him, I met nice and smart people and I learnt a lot during the event as well as during the parties we attended. See picture below…

Web 2.0 Expo is the annual gathering of European technical, design, marketing, and business professionals who are building the next generation web (perhaps it’s already web 3.0 ?).
By the way, what is “Web 2.0 ” ?: Wikipedia has this to say about Web 2.0: “a phrase coined by O’Reilly Media in 2003 and popularized by the first Web 2.0 conference in 2004, refers to a perceived second generation of Web-based communities and hosted services such as social networking sites, wikis and folksonomies that facilitate collaboration and sharing between users.”

Cette expo a pour but de faire se rencontrer toutes les personnes intéressées par l’avenir de l’Internet version 2.0 - on parle déjà de web 3.0…

Nadia will be in London to attend FIE exhibition (Foods Ingredients Europe) that will be held from October 30 to November 1. FIE will gather more than 3,000 exhibitors involved in food ingredients.
Nadia will follow-up the companies she already knows and also meet new ones. We will know more soon.
Nota : FIE is a bi-annual event alternating with HIE (Health Ingredients Europe) which was held in 2006 in Francfort. HIE next edition will be in November 2008 in Paris. More infos will be available on time !
